Thinking About Art explores influential works of art and architecture through specific themes, rather than through chronology. The book is based on the current AQA A level syllabus, but is designed to appeal more broadly to those with a general interest in art, and those teaching or studying other A level subjects, such as Art, English or History, where aspects of art history are relevant. It provides a wealth of formal and contextual analysis, including suggested exercises and further reading.
